Use an order update that crosses an on-premises application and a cloud service as the demonstration. Review the normal flow, identity configuration and failed-message handling together, then identify which patterns would transfer to the customer’s environment.

Map the participating Microsoft, SaaS and on-premises applications to the required integration patterns. Review where APIs, asynchronous messaging, events and workflow orchestration belong. Scope Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus or Event Grid according to the workload rather than assigning every connection to the same pattern.

Validate identity, throttling, retries, duplicate handling and failed-message recovery alongside the normal business path. For hybrid connections, include network access and credential ownership in the design. Confirm how operators will recognize a delayed or failed exchange and what evidence is available across application boundaries.

Prepare the interface inventory, representative payloads, security requirements and current Azure landing-zone constraints. Agree the first integration flow, its acceptance criteria and the deployment approach. The delivery scope should identify reusable connections, environment configuration, monitoring responsibilities and a practical path for subsequent integrations.

Choose the interface or operating problem you want the session to answer. An ERP-to-cloud update, API exposure and asynchronous business event require different design choices. Share the current contract and constraints so the discussion can address architecture and implementation fit, rather than show an unrelated collection of product screens.

Record the patterns demonstrated, the dependencies still to investigate and the acceptance scenarios for a pilot. Identify who owns identity, networking, application changes and operational support. A demonstration can establish a practical direction; an implementation commitment still needs the customer-specific design, access and delivery scope to be agreed.
